AUDRA MCLAUGHLIN
"Audra is one of my all-time favorite country singers" - BLAKE SHELTON
Audra McLaughlin is the Country Soul Singer/Songwriter from Glenolden, PA, who gained international recognition as a member of Team Blake on season 6 of NBC’s, The Voice. She received the infamous four-chair turn from the celebrity coaches and charmed industry veterans and fans alike with her powerhouse vocals and signature rasp, taking her to the finals.
Once her time on The Voice came to an end, Audra performed at several NFL games and toured with a NASCAR band for two years before deciding to move to Nashville to continue her career. In 2017, as she was preparing for the move, she received news that she had a cyst on her vocal chord and would require vocal surgery. She spent the next year attending speech and voice therapy and eventually met Kati Hendricks, whom she credits with much of her healing process.
After recovering from her vocal surgery, Audra moved to Nashville and began writing and networking. She released two independent singles, “Boomerang” and “Leaving the Light On.” In 2019, she met industry veteran and twice Grammy nominated Jimmy Mattingly through her vocal coach. Soon after, Jimmy introduced her to Johnny Garcia, and the rest, as they say, is history. Jimmy is a touring and recording musician for artists such as Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks. Johnny is also a touring and recording musician for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood (also serving as her Art Director). In 2020, Audra signed a publishing deal with both of the guys which was the start of a string of releases from the talented songwriting trio!
"Audra is truly the best unsigned vocalist I've ever heard, and I don't say that loosely. I'd rank her up there with the likes of Martina McBride, Mariah Carey, and yes....even Trisha. She has amazing chops, incredible control, and an astounding range. I can't wait for folks to discover her!" - JIMMY MATTINGLY
2021 saw Audra release 3 singles (Drinking with Lonely, Fun Like This and Headed For The Fall) that were co-written with Jimmy and Johnny. The guys also played on the tracks and produced them. Audra and her team started working with Donna Zanetti (our Founder) early 2021 and whom managed the PR for two of the singles. The relationship evolved into Management by Autumn that year. BBC Radio showed their support when they played two of Audra's latest singles on the Big Country Show and to top off a successful year, UK Based Maverick Magazine featured Audra across 4 full pages of their print magazine!
She released another single in March 2022 'Beautiful Pain' that was co-written with Nashville songwriter Pete Sallis. Audra made her first trip across the Atlantic to the UK to perform at this year's Buckle and Boots festival where she took to the main stage with a full band in a high energy performance that left the crowd wanting more - she was a big hit with the UK fans and we are busy planning her next visit! There is new music on its way from our Queen of Country Soul and a lot more to come from Team Audra on both sides of the pond!
